Bayside in Victoria replaced a corded Dolphin X40 Plus in January 2026: the pool cleaned, but a right-angle spa trapped the robot, and three calls over three months brought no technician call-back. Jum in Queensland had two units fail on first use with flashing red lights; the shop swapped the first and refunded the second. Each member note on that page states they received the product in exchange for their honest opinion. MH514000 in NSW said launch and retrieval were easy, that children and dogs were not catching a cord, and that after the pool sat without chemicals until algae showed, plus extra storm leaves, the robot picked up the leaves and debris in about two hours. Zodiac Australia's warranty page, effective 15 May 2026, lists FreeRider FR1000 iQ and FR2000 iQ together at 3 years, with 3 years or 1200 running hours on the motor block, whichever comes first, and 1 year on wearable parts (filter canister, tracks and roller brush). Source (checked 2026-09-20)

The same page names Fluidra Group Australia Pty Ltd as the warrantor. The express warranty applies to residential swimming pools on a single dwelling site, for products purchased from an Authorised Dealer in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Liability is limited, at Fluidra's option, to repair, replacement, or the cost of repair or replacement. It does not apply if the product was not installed to Zodiac instructions, was modified other than as authorised, was used outside recommended conditions, or was damaged by a power surge, lightning, or insect or animal ingress. Replacement parts supplied under the warranty are covered for the remainder of the period or 12 months, whichever is longer. Spare parts sold separately have 12 months on defects, excluding travel, removal, and reinstallation. The warranty is not transferable.
