ProductReview.com.au listed 3 reviews for this model when checked, with a 4.0 average and 100 percent marked positive. A WA owner said it cleaned after they fitted fine micron filters. A verified VIC owner used it in a 4 m by 2 m swim spa in a treed area: leaves stopped clogging the pool filter, it crossed the seats, and grit and sand left the floor. A NSW owner said the unit failed as soon as they installed it; the store took it back. That post also noted the S50 on sale at A$999 in November 2023 while they had paid about A$1,298 for the E10. Pool Advisor's Australian round-up of owner reports says the E10 is light at the sourced 6.5 kg but some owners find it much heavier once the basket is full of water. Owners are generally satisfied on leaves, twigs, and pine needles, and on corners because of its size. Reports on sand are mixed. On Whirlpool, a 2022 thread asked whether the E10 at about A$1,100 was worth buying for a 7 m by 3 m salt pool with gum leaves and dust. One poster said they had one for a couple of years until an electrical fault that was too expensive to fix, and that it was good for leaves and general dust but not quite so good on fine dust. That 24-month limited warranty from Maytronics Ltd covers the motor unit, cable, and power supply for 24 months from the original purchase date, and all other parts for 12 months. It applies in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, South East Asia and Southern Africa, covers manufacturing defects in normal use, and is invalidated by non-Maytronics electrical components or repairs that are not from an authorised Maytronics service representative. Warranty service is through the nearest authorised dealer with the purchase date, serial number, and a description of the problem.
