A NSW post from two weeks before the check said the Wi-Fi receiver needed to sit within a metre of the access point and still failed to connect. A verified NSW owner was taking the unit for a second repair in 10 months, and described poor cleaning, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drop-outs, and internal plastic that had broken more than once. A two-year post said a large flat step about 2 m by 1.5 m and 50 cm high was left unclimbed most of the time, that the app was slow, and that Wi-Fi would not reconnect without a full setup. Older NSW posts are warmer: owners who moved from a suction cleaner or a Zodiac said it scrubbed the waterline, picked up sand in a dual filter, and was easy to lift. One poster had just bought an S200 and had considered the S400 but skipped the extra features on price. That 48-month warranty from Maytronics Ltd applies for 48 months from the purchase date in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, South East Asia and Southern Africa. It covers manufacturing defects in normal use, and is invalidated by non-Maytronics electrical components or repairs that are not from an authorised Maytronics service representative. Warranty service is through the nearest authorised dealer with the purchase date, serial number, and a description of the problem. The 30-day satisfaction guarantee is an exchange for another Dolphin or Mineral Swim system of similar value (plus or minus A$500), not a cash refund; the product must be unused and in original saleable condition, with a valid itemised 30-day tax invoice, and delivery or service charges are excluded. Statutory rights are not affected.
