What this page covers
This page lists each brand in this site's product dataset — Aiper, Beatbot, Wybot, Dolphin (Maytronics) and Zodiac — with the Australian express warranty and the published service route. Years here match the sourced warrantyYearsAU field on each product record, or the record was corrected from a page fetched for this guide. Where a product page and a warranty table still disagree, the field stays unverified. This is a research guide, not a first-hand trial. The site owner has no pool. See how we review.
An express warranty is a manufacturer's extra promise. ACCC warranties guidance says those promises sit on top of automatic consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, cannot replace those guarantees, and can last a shorter time than the guarantees. Match a model to the pool with the robot finder and the robotic pool cleaner hub. Care steps that brands say keep a unit inside its terms are in care and maintenance.

Consumer guarantees sit above the sticker years
The ACCC consumer rights page states that consumer guarantees are automatic when you buy goods and services, and that a business cannot take them away with a no-refunds sign, a statement that it is not responsible for problems, or a suggestion that you must buy an extended warranty to keep those rights after a date. Products must be of acceptable quality: safe, durable, free from defects, acceptable in appearance and finish, and able to do what similar products are commonly used for. There are no set rules for how long a product should last. The same page says a product must also be fit for a particular purpose you told the seller about, match its description, and that manufacturers must provide spare parts and repair facilities for a reasonable time unless they told you otherwise at purchase.
ACCC warranties repeats that consumer guarantees apply automatically and continue for a reasonable time depending on the product. After a warranty against defects expires, the guarantee of acceptable quality usually still applies, so a repair, refund or replacement can still be due. A business must not mislead you into thinking your rights stop when the warranty period ends. That page also sets out the mandatory goods wording that a warranty against defects must include, starting with: "Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law."
The ACCC repair, replace, refund page splits major and minor problems. A major problem includes a product that is unsafe, very different from the description, cannot be used for its normal purpose and cannot easily be fixed in a reasonable time, or has a serious problem that would have stopped the purchase. For a major problem the consumer chooses a refund or a replacement of the same type. For a minor problem the business must at least repair it for free. Contact the seller first. The seller must not send you to the manufacturer, except where the only issue is missing spare parts or repair facilities a reasonable time after purchase.
The ACCC problems page says the ACCC does not resolve individual disputes and does not give legal advice on what you are entitled to in a particular case. It uses reports to inform education and enforcement. This site is not a lawyer and does not decide whether a fault is major or minor.
Aiper
Aiper's Australian refund and warranty table, last updated 16 April 2026, lists Scuba S1, Scuba S1 (2025), Scuba S1 Pro, Scuba S1 Pro (2025) and Seagull Pro at 24 months. Scuba X1 is 24 months. Scuba X1 Pro Max is 36 months. Surfer S2 / EcoSurfer S2 is 24 months. Those months match this site's sourced warrantyYearsAU values of 2 or 3 years on those records. The same table lists filter, high-efficiency filter and replaceable MicroMesh ultra-fine filter at a 3-month used period, and hook, adapter, charging dock and Aiper caddy at 6 months. Consumables such as the HydroComm communication kit have no warranty on that note.
Models that the refund table does not name still publish a store badge. The Scuba S3 store page states a two-year warranty from date of purchase. The Scuba V3 store page states the same two-year line. The Scuba V3 Ultra store page states a three-year warranty from date of purchase. Those badges match the dataset: S3 and V3 at 2 years, V3 Ultra at 3 years.
The refund policy is limited to the country of receipt. Aiper says it will replace with a brand new machine within 30 days of purchase, and that warranties on replacements follow the original item's remaining period. Undamaged products may be returned within 30 days of delivery with all accessories and original packaging; Aiper refunds the product cost only, and the buyer pays shipping on non-defective returns. After 30 days, non-defect issues are not refunded. Out-of-warranty paid service is offered. Proof of purchase must come from authorised sales channels. Claims from unauthorised or personal resellers, third-party repairs, lost units, expired warranties and buyer damage (falls, extreme temperatures, improper operation) are listed as not covered.
Australian Consumer Law text on that page matches the ACCC mandatory goods wording: guarantees cannot be excluded; a major failure attracts a replacement or refund and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss; a non-major failure of acceptable quality attracts repair or replacement. Contact details on that page are 1800 497 023 and service@aiper.com. For defective claims Aiper pays shipping if the returned unit is inspected as defective.
The process a warranty form is for products bought through Aiper official channels and authorised channels. It asks for proof of purchase, order id, series, model, serial number and issue details, and says warranty is tracked automatically with no registration required. Unauthorised-channel buyers are told to contact the seller. A separate repair application collects model, serial number, purchase channel and proof of purchase. The V3 store page also lists optional Aiper Care add-ons at AU$109 (Essential), AU$179 (Plus) and AU$279 (Pro) for extended coverage and related extras. ACCC warranties treats care packages as optional extended warranties that must not be sold as a substitute for automatic guarantees. Research reviews: Scuba S1 and Scuba S1 Pro.
Beatbot
Beatbot Australia is named on its about page as the authorised Australian distributor, operated by AquaTech Group Pty Ltd trading as Beatbot Australia, with local customer support and Beatbot's dedicated warranty team. Model years are on product pages, not on a single AU table. The AquaSense Pro page states 2 years standard full replacement protection, and the comparison table on that page lists warranty period 2 years for AquaSense Pro. That matches warrantyYearsAU of 2 on the Pro record. The AquaSense 2 page states 3 years full replacement protection, a 3-year full replacement warranty in the bullets, and a comparison table of 3 years for AquaSense 2, 2 Pro and 2 Ultra. That matches warrantyYearsAU of 3 on AquaSense 2.
The AquaSense (Series 1) page still shows a badge of 3 years full replacement protection and a comparison table warranty period of 2 years for AquaSense. Those two figures on the same URL still conflict, so warrantyYearsAU on that record stays null. The support centre FAQ also has a generic line that the robot comes with a 2-year warranty. That FAQ line does not override a named 3-year product page.
The refund policy offers unused products a full refund of the item only within 30 calendar days of delivery, with original packaging and all accessories. Returns may be rejected if the robot shows signs of use. The customer pays shipping to Beatbot Australia for that unused return. Email contact@beatbotaustralia.com.au; a reply is promised within 1 working day. Inspection may take 1–3 working days; refund or replacement 3–10 working days. The same policy says the limited warranty does not affect statutory rights that cannot be waived, that replacement products or parts are covered for the time remaining on the original warranty, and that warranty service is only in the region of purchase. Repair requests on that page go to service@beatbot.com. Under-warranty quality faults are repaired or replaced at no charge; human-made damage and out-of-warranty work are charged. Under-warranty quality shipping is covered by Beatbot after inspection.
The warranty and service form asks for the robot serial number, a description and steps already tried, and says most cases are reviewed within 1–2 business days. The support centre lists contact@beatbot.com.au for missing accessories, 3–7 day delivery from local warehouses, a 30-day return with a free return shipping label, and that quality-issue return costs are covered by Beatbot. The refund policy and that FAQ disagree on who pays unused-return shipping; this guide reports both. Research review: AquaSense Pro.
Wybot
Wybot Australia's refund policy publishes a warranty table in months: WYBOT F1 12; B1 12; C1 24; C2 24; C2 Vision 24; S2 24; S2 Solar 24; S2 Solar Vision 24; S3 24. The page states that this limited warranty in no way affects a potential statutory warranty provided by law. Those 24-month rows match warrantyYearsAU of 2 on C1, C2, C2 Vision, S2, S2 Solar, S2 Solar Vision and S3. F1 at 12 months matches warrantyYearsAU of 1. The C2 product page also states a 2-year warranty and 30-day returns, matching the table.
B1 is left unverified. The B1 product page header badge still reads 2-year warranty, while the same page's service-guarantee bullet reads a 30-day return period and 1-year warranty, and the refund table lists B1 at 12 months. This site does not pick among those three figures.
The 30-day money-back guarantee is for undamaged products returned with all accessories and original packaging. After that window, products still under warranty are offered free repair and free return shipping from Wybot; the buyer pays the shipping fee to return the product to Wybot. Returns start by contacting customer support with the reason and an invoice or screenshot of the order number. The contact page lists +61721150882, support_au@wybotpool.com, and an office at 1108 S Baldwin Ave, Suite 208, Arcadia, CA 91007. During peak season (September–March) it says replies take 1–3 business days, and asks for the order number. Research review: C2.
Dolphin (Maytronics Australia)
Australian shop specifications, checked 20 September 2026, list these warranty years, matching warrantyYearsAU: E10 2 years (limited); M600 3 years; M700 4 years; S400 4 years. Other seeded Dolphin records use the same product-page years in the dataset. The 24-month limited PDF linked from the E10 page returned HTTP 404 when fetched for this guide, so this page does not repeat a parts split from that file.
Maytronics For Life is exclusive to a premium Dolphin robotic pool cleaner (Liberty 400, Liberty 600, M700, S400) or a Mineral Swim system bought from an Elite Dealer. The 30-day path is an exchange for another Dolphin or Mineral Swim of similar value (± $500), not a cash refund; the product must be unused and saleable; statutory rights are stated as unaffected. Trade-in minimums on that page are $400 (years 1–5), $300 (year 6) and $250 (year 7+) toward an equivalent premium robot. Those dollars are written as Maytronics wrote them. An annual robot health check is by appointment from April until September; the check is free, parts are chargeable. E10 is not in that premium list.
The warranty registration page says failure to register does not diminish warranty rights, and to keep proof of purchase. A service FAQ states that robotic repair service work comes with a 12-month warranty on all parts replaced. Dolphins purchased from outside Australia says units on maytronics.com.au and mydolphin.com.au are modified for Australian laws and standards, and that Maytronics Australia has no obligation to honour an overseas warranty or to repair or replace those units for free. Consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded still apply to goods Maytronics Australia itself supplies.
Service is through authorised repairers. The repairs and parts page is the search for a Maytronics authorised service centre for warranty robotic repairs, and lists genuine spare-part tickets. The genuine E10 / X30 / S50 120 W on/off power supply lists A$300.84 and a 1-year parts warranty; the power cable is not included. Contact publishes 1300 693 657 (customer care option 2), infoau@maytronics.com, and head office 2/91 Rudd Street (entry off Boundary Road), Oxley QLD 4075, with branches in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, North Queensland and South Australia on the same number. Research reviews: E10, M600, M700 and S400.
Zodiac (Fluidra Group Australia)
Zodiac Australia's warranty page, effective 15 May 2026, names Fluidra Group Australia Pty Ltd as the warrantor. The express warranty applies to residential swimming pools on a single dwelling site, for products purchased from an Authorised Dealer in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia. Residential products used at hotels, swimming schools, apartment buildings and other multiple-dwelling sites drop to 1 year. The warranty is not transferable. Liability is limited, at Fluidra's option, to repair, replacement, or the cost of repair or replacement.
Robotic rows that match this site's warrantyYearsAU: DX4050 iQ, DX4000 iQ and DX3000 at 2 years, with 2 years or 800 running hours on the motor block, whichever comes first, and 1 year on wearable parts (filter canister, tyres, tracks and roller brush). FreeRider FR1000 iQ and FR2000 iQ at 3 years, with 3 years or 1200 running hours on the motor block, and 1 year on wearable parts (filter canister, tracks and roller brush). EX5050 iQ and EX6050 iQ at 3 years, with 3 years or 1200 running hours on the motor block, and 1 year on wearable parts including tyres. FR500 iQ and FR800 iQ at 2 years, with 2 years or 800 running hours on the motor. FR350 iQ at 2 years, 1 year on wearable parts, ultra-fine filter excluded. FR200 at 2 years, 1 year on wearable parts.
Claims need a case number through the MyFluidra portal on that warranty page or Customer Service 1300 763 021. Product registration and a tax invoice are required before warranty work is approved. Fluidra decides whether the unit goes back to the Authorised Dealer, is serviced in the field, or is repaired at a Zodiac workshop or authorised agent. A field visit assessed as non-warranty is charged to the purchaser. Easily returnable products are returned to the nominated facility at the purchaser's cost. Replacement parts under the warranty are covered for the remainder of the period or 12 months, whichever is longer. Spare parts sold separately have 12 months on defects, excluding travel, removal and reinstallation. Pool water is specified against AS 3633-1989, pH 7.2 to 7.8, free chlorine not exceeding 4 ppm. Australian purchasers get the ACCC mandatory goods wording on that page in addition to the express warranty. Research reviews: DuoX DX4050 iQ and FreeRider FR2000 iQ.
When a robot fails
Keep the tax invoice, the serial number and photos of the fault. Start with the seller, as the ACCC problems page requires, then use the brand route in the table: Aiper's warranty form or repair application; Beatbot's serial form; Wybot support on the contact page; a Maytronics authorised repairer; Zodiac MyFluidra or 1300 763 021 on the warranty page. Registration is optional for Maytronics rights and automatic on Aiper's form; Zodiac requires registration and a tax invoice before it approves work.
If the seller refuses a remedy that the consumer guarantees require, the ACCC still does not decide the dispute. Use the steps on the problems page. This guide does not replace the product page, the warranty document or advice from a state fair-trading office. Nothing here is presented as this site's own testing. Choose a model with the robot finder and how to choose a robotic cleaner.
